Healthy Baking Swaps

Well.. kinda new year. Guess I’m a couple weeks late on this one. It has been a pretty busy 2015, but a good one! I wanted to pop in and leave y’all with a short little post about healthy baking swaps! I know about 99.99% of the world has made a new years resolution to either: lose weight, start clean eating, workout more, etc… SO why not start with transforming some of your favorite baked goods into healthier versions!? I love doing this because that means I never have to give up any of my guilty pleasers ;)

BAKING SWAPS:

2 Egg Whites : 1 Egg

1 Cup of Applesauce : 1 Cup of Oil

1 Cup of Sugar : 3/4 Cup Stevia

1 Cup Skim Milk : 1 Cup Almond Milk

1 Cup Plain Non-fat Greek Yogurt : 1 Cup Sour Cream or Mayonnaise or Cream Cheese!

1 Cup Butter : 1 Cup Pureed Avocado

1 Cup Heavy Cream : 1 Cup Evaporated Skim Milk

These are just a few swaps I commonly use. Mostly the egg whites for eggs, apple sauce for oil, and greek yogurt for sour cream! Pinterest is also FULL of more ideas. Happy Baking :)
